Prop Help

Just boat a boat and am keeping it stored at the lake for the summer. How hard it is to remove a prop of a Yamaha? Ive got the trailer locked up but really dont want anybody swiping the prop. Thinking of removing it while it sits unless there is a way to secure it. Any suggestions.

If you have any skills, it is easy, remove the cotter pin, break the nut loose, save the parts.

What about a prop lock? Anybody have any experience or know anybody in columbia who carries them?

Any reputable marine service center should have a prop lock. 2x4, prop wrench, pair of pliers. Less than 5 minutes just dont cut your finger spinning the prop off, dont ask how I know.
