Been trying to keep some of you updated on my son's fishing. I posted a while back on him qualifying for the All American, he fished it a couple of weeks ago and finished 20th, winning $5,000. He is also fishing the FLW tour this year and has a decent rookie year going (didn't make the Forest Wood cup on Murray, but earned a decent amount so far about $24,000+ $12,000 in the BFLs) He is out on Kentucky lake practicing for the final regular season event starting this Thursday. Looks like a break-even year with entry fees and travel expenses.
Did want to also give a congratulations to his friend from the upstate Jayme Rampey, finished 2nd in the All American and also made the top 10 in the FLW tour event on Sam Rayburn last month, saw him on NBC sports Saturday, he is having a great rookie year.
