My definition of US vs. THEM

US:
Those of us that work for a living.
Take care of our families
Take care of our obligations
Pay our bills
and so on........

THEM:
Those that steal, lie, cheat, swindle and rob their way through life
Those that don't take care of the families they created.
Those who stand on the corner all damn day and collect a check for doing nothing.
Rapist, Child molesters and perverts.

These are the kind of people I plan to keep as far from my family and your family as possible. I don't let my career path define who I am. It's just a job.

Tee I was talking to a new guy out at the training division the other day and he said they don't run formation runs anymore. Said they only run in the gym until legals are over and that's it. I guess we all went too soon.

Being an LEO is like being a little league coach. There will ALWAYS be griping parents that think their child is the next PED using AROD that should be starting 9 positions every inning and that the only reason 'they' lost was because you didn't pull the cleanup hitter to pinchhit their little johnny. Absolutely thankless job

With that being said, just as there are sucky little league coaches that only care about making sure their son's pic gets in the paper, their are some sucky leo's too. Every walk of life has em.

When was the last time any type of law enforcement helped you out? I personally have never had one help me. I have been the victim of a home invasion and several robberies all of in which no one was apprehended. It seems I pay taxes to be harassed, delayed, and generally annoyed by law enforcement. I see drug deals, pill heads, metal theives all around town, but heaven forbid I forget to put on MY seatbelt which endangers no one but my grown-assed self, I can guarantee I will see blue lights.

the state troopers working parking/traffic detail always seem to be in the worse damn mood.

transport police pick on logging trucks. never see them pull a dump truck over.

i came upon a situation where a guy pulled across the center line while turning onto a major highway and was hit by a log truck killing the passenger in his pickup. the driver was ticketed by a dot officer as the evidence was clear that the pickup was at fault. the dot's supervisor showed up and told the officer to tear up that ticket.
