    Default Inspiration

I am by no means touting my fatherly skills, and I realize daily that I do more things wrong than right. However, the other day me and a couple of buddies (all with @ 4y/o sons) took the boys for an afternoon boatride on the lake. When we got on the boat at the dock, my son pointed over and said "oooohhh daddy look somebody threw trash in the water" and there was a McDonalds cup wedged in some vegetation.

He wanted to go pick it up. Reminded me of last summer when we used to joyride the river and pick up all the trash floating. It became a game. Now he wants to see the water clean (as it can be). Hope this carries forward. Now I got to get him to clean up after himself as well as others.

Very good, I hope more people/parents teach their kids this. I am always amazed and aggravated at the amounts of trash everywhere!!! We just had our annual festival in Manning, and i notice the dang people would throw trash down beside the trash can. WTF!! Also, too lazy to lift the lid so they would just put it on top of the can.
