    Default Stihl equipment ever go on sale?

    I need some new equipment and figure I might as well spring for the good stuff. Does Stihl equipment ever go on sale? I don't like paying full retail if I can help it. They have "dealer days" going on right now but that apparently doesn't mean that they are discounting anything because every dealer I've gone to has everything marked at MSRP.

    Not that I have ever seen. If you want a discount go to a pawn shop.

    I use their cutoff saws. Probably have 7 that run. I buy them used on eBay.

    Best I ever found was to find when they were throwing something in for free - I got my last saw when they were including a case for free. Also got a little break because they didn't have the exact saw I was looking for in stock and I needed it that day.

    Saw a commercial the other day, Sthil is having their dealer days promotion right now. I think this is the only sale they have each year. Not sure if it would have mattered but I wish had waited to buy my pole saw.

    No it does not go on sale. They set our prices and there is not much margin in it anyway. That being said I can help a Scducker were he to call or Pm me..
