HD Camcorders
Okay... video geeks of America unite.
I am considering liquidating (i.e., selling) my Sony digital camcorder (DVC tape format) and getting a true HD (1080) capable model with flash memory. I've been looking at reviews, and there is a Panasonic that is in a reasonable price range, but apparently there are some Mac connectivity issues.
I would like any input from folks in here that are shooting HD videos and also editting them on an iMac.
Thoughts?

i'm not sure why there would be connectivity issues (all you would have to do is stick the sd card (or whatever kinda memory card) in the mac's reader (as long as you have one) and it should work.
but as far as cameras, i have a canon somekindamodel hd camera and love it.

I have the HDR CX110 by sony. Around $500. Does not do as good as CD's in low light. Incredible pictures and video in light. Reviews say you should sell your mac if you get one.

its not mac compatible. I don't use mac. So, if you buy the HDR cx110, sell your mac.
