    Default boar down

This sucker made the mistake of rooting in my yard couple weeks ago. As soon as turkey season was over I picked up a bag of corn and set up the camera at the back of my property. This guy came every evening until last Sunday. Set up a climber and waited for the north wind. He came right around 7:45pm. I put a bullet right behind his ear. First hog I've been able to get a shot at in a few years. They come and go through the swamp occasionally. I'd guess he's around 200lbs, possibly more. He was not easy to move.

Just a bone stock Remington 700 ADL .30/06 with burris scope. Guns about 20 years old. Haven't shot anything with it in a few years. Mostly bow hunt for deer.

That should scratch an itch until August.
