    My sunflower heads are so big they are pulling the plants over. The thunderstorms are wetting the sandy land and the wind is blowing them over.

    I will smash a bunch down if I need to spray roundup.

    I'm having the same problem. We've been getting storms almost every afternoon with strong winds and dumping 1/2 - 3/4" of rain in a matter of minutes. Looks like the bush hog wont be needed for the first season.

    I wonder what my yardman would charge to walk spray it?

    The first sign of a snake and he will soil the roundup.
