I saw a 8k steel tank made into a pit one time, pretty neat rig. They concreted the floor for weight and to start a platform off of. Cut the holes where they wanted, built a bench. Pretty sweet rig.

I ordered some risers from these folks last year, and was pleased with them. They make pits too, and they are on sale through 3.31.16.

    GRW,

How big of a riser did you get from them?

I got 2 of the 36" high x 24" wide with 12" discharge. They are in what most would consider small ponds at about 6 acres each.

What a difference a year makes!
The cypress is nicely weathered and plenty of growth around the blind now.
I wish the grasses had taken off better but overall it looks great!

That is a sweet looking mid Atlantic cedar Island boonie!
Is that the floater you started a few months ago?

It's the 8x16 blind which requires rebuilding almost every year due to ice taking it out.
