Default Was That Not An "Early" Hit?

A dang good lick, but it looked like the defender beat the ball there. I didn't see the whole game so I missed this hit.

Now THAT'S leading with the head. I'd say he got there the same time as the ball, which is OK, but that hit was not kosher.

That hit was brutal. I was watching the game, and I am still waiting on them to throw the flag.

Wasn't that the first play of the game? In the words of Buford T. Justice "THAT was an attention getter". If your gonna get a flag for that, get it early and get your money's worth.

If that was another team, that is 15 yards and automatic first down. Since it was Florida, it was a tone setting hit and 2 nd and 10. In my opinion, their dbs got away with murder. I also though Hadden was all over the wr when Fla got the pick on the goal line before the half.

Nothing wrong with giving someone a "RIDDELL"- tends to set the tone for the rest of the game!!!!

since the ball hit the defender in the back as his helmet was in the guy's chin, I would say it's a bit early.

But since it was Ron Cherry's crew, nothing surprises me.
