Yep they have it. Any 5.3 in a new body style '07 and up has DOD. If you have a 4.3 or a 4.8 you are good. I think (but don't hold me to it) the suburban with the 6.2 has DOD but trucks with a 6.2 don't have it.

They have it BUT 2014 and up are direct injected engines and from what I have been told do not have the problems of the 2013 and down.

The gen v engines only differ how they deliver fuel to the combustion chamber. Cutting oil pressure and collapsing the lifters will still cause valvetrain problems. If they have Afm they will have problems

I've pulled them apart
DrDuck,
Direction injection has nothing to do with AFM as stated above. The 15's/16's have same issue. Pull up the General Motors AFM thread. It's stated there and even the "revised" oil consumption bulletin # that includes year models 15 and 16. I don't have to make a phone call. I know.
More fuel = more boost!!
Bingo. And they now say a quart every 1000 miles is normal.
More fuel = more boost!!
kRT what's the price to have this taken care of now?
