    Capt. Rene Cathou used to have smoked marlin, sword and sturgeon available all the time. He was down by the old Gulf dock in G'town.

    I remember it being very "strong" tasting, I actually remember the fish tasting pretty good but thought they had too much smoke in it.

    Smoked is good. We fried some the other day, if you stay away from the rings in the meat, it aint bad at all.
