Anybody have any input on the Teludyne Straight jacket system? Have a chance to pick up a Remington 700 in .308 that has the straight jacket barrel for what I think is a decent price.

Junk......heavy junk. My nephew had that done to his .270. For the money he spent he could have got a Bartlein or Kreiger barrel. If the price is right and I mean real right, you can get it for the action then put a real barrel on it.
If it ain\'t accurate at long distance, then the fact that it is flat shooting is meaningless.
