    Default NJ/New York

While I wish no one has to deal with this storm or any damage caused by it. Can you imagine the riots in NJ and NY if Irene were to fizzle out before getting there. The blame they will put on the government for making them evacuate and disrupting their weekend. They have never experienced the wrath of such a hurricane and have no idea how lucky they would be if that were to happen.

Our VP of Engineering's daughter is at NYU on a musical scholarship.

She received a phone call this morning from him saying GTFO now!

She was on a train to upstate NY to stay with some family friends within the hour. He's more worried about riots and looting than he is the flooding... he grew up there.

New York is a chit hole. It needs washing. Hope nobody is harmed but that place is nasty.

Our home office is less than an hour outside the city on Long Island. Their biggest concern is care of our server with the rising waters. Pandemonium abounds up there right now, I'll bet.

Sewer rats will be surfing on cardboard boxes out into the Hudson.

Lower Manhattan is only a few feet above sea level. Going to get interesting that is for sure.
