    Default treadmill

Its cold out. I still need to run 30ish miles a week.

Anyone have any pros/cons for buying a treadmill?
Advice on putting it on second floor vs leaving it in the garage?

Best place to find a deal? I've scoured craigslist but according to some research, I need a faster motor than I've found used so far. I need the treadmill to hold 6:30 miles.

I don't know anything about treadmills except that they make great clothes racks. And they're heavier than piss.

Have you tried NOT having a vagina?

I mean even Bruce Jenner ran outside when it was cold.

We got the Bowflex MAX Trainer and this thing is badass. Expensive as all hell, but what a workout. Takes the pounding from running away from your knees. Low impact, high intensity and one hell of a workout.

Outside run is way better than treadmill.

I got one on black friday a couple years ago 50% off at Dick's. FWIW, it was the top of the line they had. Like most treadmills, I sold it a couple years later when my back and knee told me to.

Hi, yes, thank you for suggestions of running outside. I haven't thought of that.

its cold and i have a toddler at home. it becomes harder to throw the baby in the stroller and hit the road when its 40 degrees and dark.

I ran and biked all last winter, the highlight being 70 miles at 20 degrees. I'd use it for short runs and interval work -- continue to do my long runs outside.

Vagina in this case is more a state of mind rather than anatomy.

You can get a hell of a interval workout on a treadmill as I am sure you know. With as many lazy fatasses in our state , you would think unused treadmills would pop up on craigslist regularly. I know I wouldn't buy a new one.

Bought a new/ slightly used one from a chic off craigslist.

Wife used it for a year and I sold it for $175 when I only paid $150 a year earlier. They are there just keep your eyes peeled.
