    when I lived on Hatteras island I had a trim carpenter that worked for me and he had been to Vietnam and when I asked him what he did, he said he was a LURP. We became great friends over the years and he had photo albums of old black and white photos of him and the "patrol" in the jungle and I use to love looking at the photo album. He died of cancer a few years ago.

    I use to love to read books about those guys. That was some good books about some tough guys.

    I hang out with a man that was a lrrp. Probably the toughest man I know.
