For some reason, I'd like to murder some more cormorants right now.

I put down puddle ducks because I'm at that stage in my duck hunting where I really just want to fill a freezer with meat and I'd rather eat most puddle ducks. Of course the exception to that would be the canvasbacks as they eat just as well as any puddle ducks in my opinion.

What would I rather shoot for fun? Divers and teal!! They are way more fun than killing big ole puddle ducks like mallards, pintail, gadwall, widgeon, and shovelers. I guess that's why I liked Alaska so much. I could shoot 10 sea ducks a day and still shoot my 8 puddle ducks. I had the best of both worlds!!
Living in Moncks Corner but looking forward to moving back to the West Coast in 2020 where there are more ducks and less duck hunters!! LOL

Gobs of ringnecks in a lily pad pond.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Mallard ducks flying 2 feet off the ground, coming uphill to you as they try to get under the wind/snow that is pelting them in the face while trying desperately to get to the peas you are set up on...
