    Default CORMORANT!!!!!!!!!!!!

CORMORANT: to all idiots i saw this morning this is not a duck nor does it respond to a mallard call, especially highballing. Also if this is your quarry shooting at them at 100yds. plus is not effective. Also it is unlawful to tshoot these birds. i didn't see a cormorant get by all moring without someone calling at it then shooting at it.

I've seen this so called other name in an old bird book of mine, circa 1948. I wouldn't type it either.

I've got it at my lake house when I get up there I'll let you know the name. The first inset in the book has a picture of a Cormorant, and the name we talk of in quotes. The book was a gift to my father from my late grandmother. I think it is the year because I remember the book was was written around his birth year. It had great old drawings, and it was a pretty cool book. I think it was the one of the first books written about SC birds and waterfowl.

I hear that cormorant eats good marinated in Italian dressing, wrapped in bacon and cooked on the grill.

Had some guys, on the coast, blowing goose calls at Cormorants this morning.

    Then I heard them shoot.

Shined them off at 6am, they went and set up on the entrance of my creek and the main channel. Effectively "cock blocking" the birds I was hunting.

They pass shot everything that came off that lake, (which incidentally, I was where they wanted to be). I saw five birds. Two "blottleds". All of them hauling ass after getting peppered.

    Dirty, Rotten, Shitassed, Sonsuvbitches.

Why am I not deer hunting?
