The title of this thread made me have flashbacks from high school!
Not that kind. Pan fried and no hallucinations just deliciousness.
I look for them but I have never found a morel.
I love some hickory chickens!

They say the only time a fishermen tells the truth is when he tells you another fisherman is a liar.
Mushrooms are nasty.
I found a bucket load of morels this weekend.
I have a place where I usually get morels every year...that is if I time them right. I'm planning on going tomorrow or Wed and checking on them.
Found some small ones a year or two ago while looking at some land with Slaya. It was a sweet looking spot but a little late. I'd love to go back there and look for some good ones. I'm sure there would be a nice patch there if the time was right.

Found them towards Parksville. Most were too far gone.
Hell yeah! I enjoyed it. Just walking in the woods, the fellowship and finding some morels was worth it.
Did that place sell yet? If not we should hustle back over there and grab a bag of morels.
I plan on getting out to a few spots this afternoon. Will carry turkey gun and a diaphragm call just in case.

Are there any other local shrooms that look like the morels?
I pick them through the summer.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.
