    Default Sunday dinner

Nothing like a family meal on Sunday afternoons.

Mashed potatoes the easy way.....potatoes in a bowl and cooked in the microwave.....crushed up with a big spoon when done and stir in whatever looked good...today it was butter, cream cheese, pepper, Lawry's, sour cream and milk.

Tried something new my wife saw on fb.

Rolled up and sliced. Pimento cheese & dough pinwheel looking things into the pan.

Cubed steak 'n onions did alright. No knife needed.

These pimento things were ridiculous. Rich flavor. Will do again.

    Thanks.

I'm still in weight loss mode so I restricted my eats to some of the steak and 1/4 of one of those biscuit things.

Teenage T-Rex put his back into his work at the table. Joker threw down on one of those plates and another like it. He's single digit body fat but eats like a monster. Gotta love the genetics he gets from his mother and his metabolism is crazy high.

    Thanks.

I agree on the Palmetto Cheese. They really do a great job on all their varieties. This jalapeño is my favorite.

I like it best on some Quest protein chips.

I sample them to ensure they are seasoned properly but outside of that I just don't really care for 'em.

I guess it's a byproduct of mainly eating low carb. Once I've been off carbs for a while I no longer want them.

Pretty much a carnivore who still eats salad greens, too.

    Thanks, folks.

As to the corn.....I'm all about grilling it and even getting a slight char...hitting with some butter and fresh ground pepper and learning it up. My tribe likes it a bit more enhanced.

I don't eat the stuff....so I make it how they like it.

As you should. Looks good to me and I will have to try the biscuit things.

I use that Palmetto Cheese/jalapeno to top my tomato pies. Brown the pie shell, maters, basil, chopped onions and pimento cheese over the top. 45 minutes to heaven.
