    Default Avet Reel Service, Columbia

Anybody know who can help out with some Avet 30 EXW's in Columbia?

Have some new clicker pins that need to be installed but I don't have the right tool to remove the old pin.

    Great thanks.

The reels are great, the clicker has worn out on a few and needs to be replaced.

Per Avet, it's designed to wear to prevent damage to the reel.

Tons of fish have been caught on these reels.

Did they come out with a new, louder clicker pin? I absolutely love my Avets, and the only drawback is that the clicker isn't the loudest.

I don't have the trolling reels, just the MX an JX on a couple of bottom rigs. I'm amazed at the fish I've whipped with those tiny reels. My JX is on a rods that's set up for Lucanus style jigs, it's whippy as hell but it loads fast and puts a hurting on some big fish. Going to get a few more this year with the raptor and 2 speed option.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

From what I can tell, the clicker pin is a similar design, I'll take a few pictures and upload.

Worn pin still installed. Under the black plastic guide sleeve is a c-clamp wire holding the pin in place.

New pin, notice the convex surface, this creates the click.
