    Default dead mount

Finished a dead mount I've been working on the past few days. Lots of respect to good taxidermists out there. it is an art. After this one there are already things I wouldve done differently but am pleased with it being my first one.

Looks good man. I don't have near the patience to attempt my own taxidermy.

Good looking mount. I would try to hide the screws in the antler by putting them through the back side.

yea. counter sink those screws and put some kind of fancy rivet or cap infront of the screw heads.

Very nice! Maybe try using an old piece of barn wood, instead of fresh cut. I'm with JHD...great memories!
