Default May Have been thinking about ducks

Grilling some bluebill and ring necks this evening.
Watching a couple videos of some duck hunts in Canada and just relaxing.
Four and a half months to go. I can't wait

I can't even think about it. I was on the riverbank Thursday, and saw some summerducks, then my son and I hit the marsh afterwards looking to drop crawdad traps. I pummeled it out of my head, then yesterday saw the sunflowers sprouting... Sheeeet, i picked my son back up, headed to the lake, and thumbed through looking for him a new knee board and some skis. I try my best to live in the moment, eat by the season, and make the best of now.

I patched and painted a few decoys the other day. I could be ready in 2 weeks.

Traveled down to south Florida via 95 last weekend. Just happened to be going down the Georgia coast right at sunrise. Never thought I would've seen that many ducks this time of year, but they were dive bombing the marshes

Yes it is. Less than average snow and earlier melt should mean the crops will get off a couple weeks earlier than last year.
