I would never advocate illegal drugs. If you look up gnar pump, it's a pretty funny take on the workout culture. It's made by people called "brosupps" whose motto is "50% science, 50% magic, 100% Results".
My comment was getting at that short of steroids, there are few tested supplements that make a major impact on your body's ability to grow and perform any better. Diet and tailoring that diet towards your fitness goals are way more important than one extra supplement you can work into your regimen. That said, supplements have their place and if it helps get people get motivated to go work out, all the better.
