    Default First duck

    Hunted my entire life but this is only my first full year duck hunting, its just a bluebill hen (i think) but ill remember it.

    Congrats, and glad to see you have a whistle!...leave all of the other calls in the truck. 99% of the people that hunt in this state would kill a lot more birds if they left all of their calls at home except for a simple whistle. And damn, the marsh would be so much more peaceful. Anyhoo, congrats on the bird.

    My first duck was a bluebill hen. A string of eight came through the decoys. I pulled out ahead of the lead bird and fired. Number 7 fell stone cold dead.
