    Default Sunset over Stone Stadium

For those of you who were not aware, Columbia was, in layman's terms, crushed by a line of storms this afternoon. I was trying to try out some new gear tonight at the game, but the game was delayed almost 3 hours and I needed to get home. If you ever want to see some flash flooding, come to this side of town right after a heavy rain; Whaley Street right before Assembly was under 4 feet of water.

The last bits of light shine through the clouds at Stone Stadium in Columbia. Storms like this one always leave a couple layers of clouds, making unique sunsets.

There weren't too too many, but it looks worse in the picture because the announcer had asked everyone to leave the stands because of lightning. They did have a 19 preseason rank though, so we'll see if they can win a few

I used to love going to Sunday afternoon games growing up back when Josh Wolfe and Clint Mathis played.

I was over at the Sciences building doing some shooting for the university. Felt like I was on the swim team. Cool pic.

Powerful photo Richard. You can almost feel that heavy "pressure" feeling in the air that you get with a storm like that moving in.

It was a hell of a storm. Very cool and first time using the new tripod. Was lucky enough to have it on the front page of today's gamecock.
