It's is even better when you have had a few beer's, and have the drunk munchies.

It is pimento cheese, but it's called palmetto cheese. Best pimento cheese out there.

Palmetto cheese is disgusting. They put freakin onions in pimento cheese. That aint right.

i got one of the weirdest ones.....

we eat sunday lunch every sunday with my wifes grand parents... talk about some good old homestyle cookin. well my wife loves her mac and cheese, so the only thing that stays the same every sunday meal is that we have mac and cheese.... im talking the good mac and cheese, with tons of cheese, velvetta cheese, the kind that has more cheese than anything else....

well anyway, sometimes she fixes sweet potatoes... kinda like a souflee, so they are real sweet......

hot damnit i LOVE to mix those two together..... mac and cheese and sweet potatoes all mixed together is about my favorite bite of food.... i dont know what it is but i discovered it by pure accident..... the weird blend of sweet and cheese is just awesome....

o and i like to put jelly in my grits..

I was reading back through this, and this brought back old memories. Your mom's "minna" cheese is/was the shit. (been about 20-25 years since I had it). She could straight hook up a grilled cheese too, wid da real chedda.
