    not mine. that was his. not searcy, but he does love a rapala. he tried that floating worm just long enough to say he did....

    people dont listen to me. that's the problem. the last two jacklegs I took fishing LAUGHED AT ME when I tied on a topwater. again, both of them were throwing one within ten minutes.

    Wow, well done. Have you tried this pattern in the upstate this time of year? Not trying to step on any toes, so you don't have to answer that. I love throwing a frog, but just have never thought of it this time of year.

    match the hatch, right BB? i went out to this place to plow some firebreaks that same morning. it was around 10am and I stopped by the pond to....well, I stopped byt the pond for a "break." You should've heard the frogs. they were going nuts. Had I had the right tackle, I would've been fishing immediately. as it turns out, I had to wait till 3pm.....
