I met him once; I served with his Nephew at Fort Bragg.
He was forced to retire (LTC West, not his nephew) after personally interrogating a prisoner in Iraq that had first-hand knowledge of planned attacks on his unit. Crock of shit if you ask me.

Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.
