    Default Housetraining

I've got a 2 year lab who seems to a small bladder. He pisses in the house about every 2 weeks, especially if he is excited. He sometimes even pisses in his crate. I let him out at least 5 times a day. I would think that by 2 years old he could hold it for longer. He knows he's not suppose to pee in the house because he cowers down when he pisses. He is fixed and crate trained. Any sugguestions?

Another thing he does is throw up every once in awhile. I seem to think it is an attention thing, but could it be allergies, stomach issues, or what?

    Thanks

Can we assume you've taken him in to see a Vet? He could easily have a bladder infection, or you can be causing an anxiety condition if your training methodology is inconsistent.

90% of dog training is "Training the Trainer"... which includes all dog owners.

Have him checked out by a Vet and let us know if he finds anything.

I have the same problem with my 4 month old lab. She will hold it all night in her crate but when running around in the house she has to go every thirty minutes. I wouldn't think it would be a bladder infection since she can hold it all night. What do you guys think?

My fiance took her to the vet today and he told her that it could possibly be a UTI. He gave her an antibiotic and told us to come back in a month. I would think a UTI would bother her during the night and wake her up to go outside.
