I've always heard that you need rain in June if you want to make corn. But three straight days of torrential afternoon / evening downpours - yikes!! Probably lose a bunch of the duck field corn if we can't get our drainage pump operational tomorrow!

I haven't checked the gauge but like ABB said, way too much. At least I won't have to drag my boat across any sandbars for a while hopefully. Steady chance to rain for the next couple of days.
I heard it was raining in Florence area. I haven't seen rain in at least a WEEK here!!
i finally got my yard back today.. the sun dried up things.. but almost needed a boat
It rained from 3-5 inches up here monday, depending on locale and its rained every day since except today.I was going to spray my sunflowers this week with lightning, but the field is too wet and im leaving for the beach in the morning.Hope the few weeds we do have wont get too tall next week.
If it aint got 8 toes & a green head,it aint a duck.
Bucket-o-rain! Buckets-o-rain!
5-7 inches around Florence,.......more in Marlboror county.
Rain IS a good thing.
The amount we've been getting in Sumter is ridiculous, but my lawn is greener this year than its ever been!

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

If it ain\'t accurate at long distance, then the fact that it is flat shooting is meaningless.

If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.
Missing you my great friend.
In my neck of the woods, we have had 23 +/- inches since the 28th of April. It is so wet I am still farming, hopefully get the last of it planted this afternoon.
