gas was down to 1.30 a gal when we left for ark last year, it was great...sense it was at 3.80-4.00 a gal when we first started plannin. maybe it will get close this year.
I am not above a awalk in hole, in fact they have proved to be some of the best hunts i've had. If i did it much anymore, i'd have to get some featherlights or them deeks things. Even six of them magnum herters burlaps get tough on the shoulders especially with them 1lb georgetown weights.
"Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs.

The inflatable decoys are the best thing since sliced bread for walk in spots.

I've never used any inflatable dekes before except some geese that I didn't like. I know the breathable waders will come in handy though. I'm tryin to set up a trip out there around the 16th, if anyone wants in PM me. Just throwin it out there.
Dee's, x2 on the dekes.

You don't need more than 6 dekes and a pulsator in AR to kill a green head. We limited every day we were in the timber last year. Came close in the rice fields too. But in the timber, we used 6 super mags and 4 teal dekes along with the pulsator and a mojo. Leave the mojo and roll out. Gun has a sling and shells, calls and dekes can fit in my new tangle free backpack, so I wouldn't have a problem there.
