    Default Prescription sunglasses

Anyone know of a manufacturer that will do a -4.00 prescription? Seems like most stop at -3.00 which I’m not sure why because you can have them made at a lab just not sure the quality.

    Eyebuy direct?

I’ve ordered glasses through them for the past few years, my prescription is rather odd. I have to send them a picture of it for them to verify and they they make them with no problems

My optometrist got me a set with no problem. Not sure who they used, but they were Costas.

The issue is my prescription. Coastal will only do up to a -3. I can order Costa frames and then have a lab do the lenses. If I have to I just don’t know if the quality will be the same.

I'm pretty sure most of the RX sunglass lenses are made from a lab and not direct by Costa any more. I'm also pretty sure my wife had to get the lab made lenses for her Costas and she has had them for years. We are just now looking at getting her RX updated for her frames. Costa doesn't make the frames anymore so it will probably just be a brand new pair of sunglasses. Also keep in mind that if you have vision insurance it SHOULD cover RX sunglasses as well if you havent already used the regular glasses benefit. If you have used that benefit then there should still be a decent discount if you use an in-network provider. If you dont have vision insurance then just use who will give you the least hassle

I have the same prescription, so they must of had a lab do them and then popped them in.
