You might contact my son, Mldalton, on here. He splices fiber for a guy that works all over the state.
Living in Moncks Corner but looking forward to moving back to the West Coast in 2020 where there are more ducks and less duck hunters!! LOL

TruVista & AT&T in Kershaw County are laying an ass of fiber. I'm guessing it's partially funded by the rural broadband initiative.

Maybe reach out to either company and see if they're hiring or if the subs are hiring?

Thanks for the responses. To the folks who mention some companies, I already do work for TruVista and a good bit of Spectrum stuff, mostly kind of local to Columbia/Charlotte areas. I’ll reach out to the members mentioned. Thank you all.

Just as I posted this earlier, trying to figure out how bad a few days of no work was going to hurt, I got a call, and have been working on an outage for the last 7 hours. The Lord is good!!

If I recall most of the legacy telephone Co-Ops around the state are laying fiber to replace their old twisted pair infrastructure. The one that services 5 counties near me is Farmers, FTC for short. That's who Phone Man works for. I'm sure with a few calls you could be in touch with someone there that handles the paperwork side for the subs.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

Check with Home Telecom. They are laying fiber from Monks Cornor through Awendaw & McClellanville.
