Just gave a new toy a test run. My other 300BO AR has a 10.5" barrel with a Vortex LPVO, while the new one has a Ballistic Advantage 8.3".

I shot the 10.5" last weekend using Hornady 190gr Sub-X with zero issues in a carbine gas system with H2 buffer, suppressed. I also ran it in a 16.25" Ruger American Ranch and I think it was quieter than any of my 22 bolt guns. Both 190 & 220 ran fine & quiet in both.

This little thing shot great with the SB Tactical PDW buffer system using 220gr StealTH ammo. I'd love to find some of the 190 Sub-X to reload.

I did attempt the SiCo Omega 36M in the "short" configuration, and wasn't overly thrilled; 2" makes a pretty substantial difference.

I'm beginning to believe modular suppressors are more of a gimmick that just has more moving parts which could later become problematic failure points.
