    Talking about Grits. How about a Grits Pirleau? I will say its not my favorite, and can't replace rice, but its not that bad once its hot & ready straight out the pot. I've tried it with both White and yellow grits. I actually like it better with some cold vinegar BBQ on top. Let the grits heat the BBQ.

    Bacon wrapped Jalapeño poppers stuffed with cheese ( not dove breasts)
    Crockpot lil Smokies in bourbon bbq sauce.
