"That's exactly what they are counting on, folks like you that think since there are so many made up counts, maybe one or two must be true. "

No, I just know a lot of those are federal charges and they have a 90 plus percent conviction rate. That's why so many people under Trump are pleading and turning over.

For those of you who can't see how one event is related to another - there are people who are in prison without due process for walking into the capitol. The people "under Trump" are pleading to avoid similar situations, and they may still end up as political prisoners. Tell me, who has taken a stand against that illegal shit? The fact that the press isn't talking about this nonstop or that the GOP hasn't shut the government down over this is fucking unreal. Political prisoners right here in the United States in 2023. But we're still comfortable, so we can't be bothered.

Sidney Powell said she is not testifying against Trump. She took a deal to plead guilty to other minor offenses. As stated above, she got dragged in because she paid a law firm to do an investigation on the voting machines after they were given permission to do so by local election officials. It was later ruled that the local officials didn't have the authority. They charged her with RICO and other ridiculous felonies but let her plea out on misdemeanors because they really didn't have anything. She could have maintained her innocence at the risk of getting railroaded by leftist jury from Atlanta. That was a no brainer.

Cohen will definitely testify against Trump but he's a convicted liar and all around scum bag with a grudge.

Don't you see how this works? They make ridiculous charges against people that carry severe penalties and then give them a chance to escape years in prison before they go broke fighting the government's army of lawyers. Most folks have no choice but to plea out to lesser charges. They count that as part of their conviction rate.

Plea deals are a corruption of the system and are frequently used to extort false confessions and testimony. How can you trust the testimony of a person that was forced to say something bad about a person under threat of prison time?

Certainly we all understand the likelihood of coercion and or bribery involved in these “plea deals” right?

How is lying on financial statements and borrowing money on inflated market values on real estate in NY related to election interference in Georgia?

I know people in SC that tried that(borrowing on inflated real estate) and things didn't go well for them.

What they are calling "lying on financial statements" has already been shown to be bullshit. They compared what the Trump organization estimated the value of Mar a Lago to the tax assessed value. They claimed Mar a Lago was only worth $17M. Do you understand how stupid that is? The assessed tax value is almost always wildly different than the true market value. It is the lender's responsibility to assess the value of property they are taking as collateral. None of these lenders have filed suit, nobody has come forward and claimed harm or damages. You need to check out a few different news feeds instead of trusting CNN and MSNBC.

Why should they when they still have legions of useful idiots repeating the allegations with no context of the facts? This isn't about truth, it's about perceptions that can influence an election.

He is a NYC crook and I like the guy, voted for him twice and will again.
His policies were good for America, that doesn't mean he isn't a crook
He was a wealthy yankee crook in the Atlantic City Casino and in construction business
long before he was a politician. Oh, and I absolutely think he is being persecuted
with this never ending legal non-sense. He is a crook and there are a million more doing the same
crap everyday and no one gives a shit.
You'd have to be stupid to think he didn't tell his accountant and Cohen what figure he needed on those applications
and appraisals. You ever told an appraiser (real estate or insurance adjuster) what number you needed? Same stuff,
everybody does it....not a big deal, the frigging lenders should do their own due diligence regarding loan to values.

Where are the victims of these crimes and why haven't they spoken up?

2oof, read this and let the outlandish over-reach of the “charges” soak in. Every piece of this is illegitimate, contrived, far-left, activist bullshit, designed to derail the Trump campaign. They know he’s going to win if they can’t render him ineligible before the election. And they know anything that sticks on the first go won’t stand the sunlight of an appellate court.

    i understand your perspective.
I agree its a bit of a reach.
However, he is an idiot for tampering.
    I'm not reading that.

he lied on his financial statements. Its not the crime of the century, Tommy. I get that but he's still guilty.
and I will still vote for him. I dont really like it. I readily admit that.
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.
