Hotel near USC Aiken

Any decent hotels near USC Aiken? Got to spend a couple nights there in a few weeks. Don’t mind riding a few minutes if it means staying in a decent place/location. Thanks.

The Wilcox or the carriage house inn are the nicest spot in town, although they will be the most expensive as well. Stay away from the other downtown area ones. Other than that pick your poison of the chain hotels on Whiskey Rd.

The Wilcox downtown if you're into the historic downtown thing, consistently rated as one of the best hotels in the south. Prices will be between reasonable and comparable to a normal hotel or absolutely ridiculous depending on what's happening in town that week.

The Hilton Garden Inn is fine. The Country Inn and Suites is also ok.

Mind you I've never stayed at any of these because that would be weird since I live here but by appearances and area they are good to go. Would probably be easier to tell you where not to stay once you start to narrow it down. Most of the nicer hotels are going to be downtown or on the southside, 10-20 minutes away, and not right near USCA, the northside.
