The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.
I am going to ask but I doubt i get a response. Talking to the timber manager, I said they could plant it the way it was and save on the spray. His response was oh it got sprayed. I dont know when but they should have notified us to exclude peosonnel from the property. Or so i thought.

It was clear cut in late summer and nothing left to spray, Clean. They may have sprayed a pre-emergent. I could see where they sprayed some wisteria but wasnt really anything else to spray.

Half has already been mechanically replanted this past December. Area they planted is pretty much barren except for dry brush. Wish they would have burned it. Going to spray and plant the next half next winter or so they said. I guess i will see what comes up in the area they already planted this spring. Only interested in the soil residual action so as to determine if we can plant.
