I have been bow hunting this buck for the past two seasons. I never once saw him until mid October this year, but he busted me when I drew back my bow.
My last conference call for the day was 330-400. I snuck into the blind (while still on the phone). It ended early, around 350. A few minutes later I heard deer running. There stood a doe very close at 50 yards, and past her was the buck in the food plot. I had a rifle with me, due to rain/bad wind, and it was only a bonus hunt after work. I quickly set down my coffee mug, which banged loudly (!%&*) on the metal floor. The doe looked up at me, the buck was still there, focused on the doe, waiting for her next move. I carefully pushed my rifle out the window, the scope was completely fogged! Frantically I wiped both ends, as he slowly started walking back into the woods. I tried again, and found him right before he stepped out of sight.
