Stander Dog Hunt with Sportsmans Hunt Club
Here is a chance to enjoy a 2 day dog hunt on our club as a stander the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving. This is our biggest and most enjoyable hunt of the year. We usually have a cookout or fish fry on Friday evening after the hunt. You will be a stander man and have the opportunity to be on 4-5 drives each day. We draw numbers out of a hat as to which stand you will be on for each drive.
2.75 or 3" buckshot only and no 10ga shotguns allowed.
Chambers must be open when on the backs of the trucks.
Hunters orange is a requirement.
A leash or rope is recommended for catching dogs if they cross close to you.
A doe must weigh 75# or you will be charged a $50 fine as this is to protect the dogs.
Motels are close by in the towns of Allendale or Barnwell.
You will need to use your own buck tags if you harvest a buck club has doe tags.
I will pay your guest fee to take part in the hunt.
This hunt is for one person or a father and son.
