Low Country Turkey Invitational 2023.....
This is a seat at the round-table for the Low Country Game Bird Foundation's 12th annual LCTI fundraiser hunt in 2023.
So, this hunt consists of 60, two man teams (hunting on public and private across the area) competing for bragging rights and some fine custom calls.
The Foundation is a non-profit and all proceeds are currently directed to wild turkey research.
Except, the proceeds from TEAM #61 which will go to support our friend Jacob!
Entry per team is $500 so this is no small fundraiser!
This event has grown in popularity in the past five years and participation is limited to invitation only and returning teams have first right for the team spots.
LCTI is held at my families place, OakGrove Plantation in Hampton County.
The event will be held on Wednesday evening through Thursday, April 5-6, 2023 (this is Easter week)
The Wednesday evening event will be cocktails and tall lies followed by a prime rib dinner that is second to none.
Thursday will be the hunt (on OakGrove) followed by the weigh-in and BBQ lunch.
You will be hunting with myself and Jacob but I plan to be a simple guide.
I will not go as far as to guarantee you a bird but I will guarantee you the opportunity at having an incredible time!
Accommodations provided of course and the bar is free pour....
