After shooting one with my Contender 410 pistol a number of years ago, someone on here questioned whether pistols were legal. I assumed since it was a 410 that it would be fine. After checking with some good friends at DNR, I was told that all pistols are illegal for turkeys. I offered to turn myself in but the head of law enforcement told me "Good job" and that he felt I was fine and the law should be changed.
