I knew this was about him when I read the first line. Very cool and inspiring story, but seems a little much to me. The NFL decision-making process is usually as simple as this:

1. Can you play?
2. Will you make us more money than you'll cost us?

If they can answer "yes" to both (and sometimes even just one) of those questions, he'll be drafted. The letter's poignant, but ultimately pointless.
