Great Idea Leroy. Been working on mine all day. Not as impressive as yours but lots of memories in this one.

Add you a wingbone call to the lanyard and a couple of short feathers to it and it would really look great.

They are 1 1/2". I would have mounted that bird but he fell in the Edisto River after I shot and got waterlogged and lost about half of the feathers. If you look close you'll notice I broke one of the spurs while cleaning them and had to super glue it back together. Leroy what do you think on the beads I wanted to get it done and ended up with WalyWorld beads. I wanted to use black beads like yours but the black beads they had wouldn't fit through the leather strap.

Those beads look fine..the only thing you could do is change the cord you are using........I use a camo parachute cord from military surplus or I have seen them in walmart.....that would be the only way just try and make your cord smaller for the beads will fit........or do they make a smaller leather cord like the one you have????

I actually bought a smaller size. It worked well.
