My daughter smoked a bird this morning! She turned 8 last month. She has been practicing with this gun since February and this was our 4th hunt together. The .410 shot terribly high so I had a red dot put on right before the season. It shoots #9 tss. I think the bird was about 13 steps. We had two or three come in and things started to get sketchy. She adjusted her gun twice and then hammered the front bird when it came around in front of us. I had told her to aim for the base of the neck. I might be more excited than her! We can't wait to load up a slug in it for her to deer hunt.
One with the bird tagged since I forgot to put it on before the first photos.
