    It's not the first time for me. I wasn't in the boat, just wading around after dinner. I tell you though.. his size doesn't come out in the pic, but I thought I had myself a nice big mouth bass.

    Wateree cats will eat anything you throw at a bass. Catch them trolling all the time.

    One of the biggest cats I've caught on lake moultrie was on a beetle spin.

    Not too terribly far off topic, I saw a crappie get catched on Murray on a chunk of cut herring. And I caught a cat on a ice fly around Christmas this year. Weird. Carry on.

    My grandad on my moms side of the family doesn't hunt or fish much. He did as a kid but got out of it as an adult.
    Anyhow Dad and I took him with us one day down to a pond we used to own and he tied on an old Devils horse. About two cast in I heard something come get it and start rolling on the water. I ran over there expecting a nice bass but instead he had about a 5lb catfish
