I've owned ram mounts......And they wear out and move in any king of rough water.

If you have a few days....Look at the. Balls Out mounts. They won't move in 10 ft waves.

Just bought the Hook7 today, found the ram mount I was looking for at Sportsmans Warehouse. Thanks Columbia Cornbred for checking, the Hobie one wasn't exactly what I was looking for.
