I have no idea, but cut them stumps at sitting level and nail a board to them to sit on.

I tore out all of my duck blinds this past summer. I thought it was a cool idea about 3 years ago but found out the ducks shy from them and they are a PAIN in the ass to keep brushed in. It is nice to have stable footing to shoot from but all you need to do is sink some pallets to stand on.

The pair of darker purple ones look like Meadow Beauties. I don't have a clue about the ones with three petals. Do you have a close-up of the flower?

Looks like some type of smart weed to me. A close up would be better.

That's what I thought too fro, thanks.I don't remember the leaves getting red in fall though.

I will get more pics of the weed next time I go down. That spot used to hold lots of ducks so wanted to be sure before I cut it out. Someone else mentioned a Japanese smart weed of some sort but I havent found a match yet.

Thanks Calibogue. I've never seen any marsh dayflower before and was about to have to drag out the books.
