Some of y'all that are talking about the harbor being rough on these guys, you do realize they fish the Great Lakes right???? The harbor is child's play to the guys at this level.

It was cool to see them come ripping down the ICW this afternoon though.

I was watching the weigh in this afternoon and one of the guys from up north , think it was Dave Lefrebe ,who lives on Lake Erie said he had never been in rougher water than his ride today.

Davey Hite got stuck on low tide coming back to the weigh in.

Another guy broke down around 12:00 and had to be picked up at Strawberry landing.

I'd just go out to the north jetty and catch a couple bonnet heads or stingrays.

SC tournament won by a SC native! Couldn't ask for a better outcome! Even ole Hart got to hand him the trophy.. I imagine they will be back to Georgetown many times.

It is surprising that the two 8lb fish were not caught in the Cooper. The boys not making that run had shots to win there at the end

I watched/saw Kelly Jordan, Randy Howell, and Timmy Howell yesterday fish for a while.

He's a great guy, I'm happy for him to get his first elite series win. I kinda wish I would have drove his truck to the stage, but I let my dad do it instead. But it was nice to get to talk to him and his boys before he weighed in, he certainly made South Carolina proud.

He had it wrapped up a few years back on bull shoals and came unraveled on the final day and was able to finish 2nd. He runs a hell of a auto customization shop in Gastonia. He works up front and makes it a point to speak with everyone that comes in the door
